Top Tennis Player Holger Rune Continues Collaboration with Mouratoglou Academy and Builds Dream Team for 2024 Season

He discovered the courts of the Mouratoglou Academy at 13 years old. Seven years later, Holger Rune is still linked to it.

For twelve months, Holger Rune had Patrick Mouratoglou as coach. If their collaboration ended at the beginning of September 2023, the Danish prodigy has not severed ties with the Frenchman’s team.

Member of the latter, Louis Fresneau, Mike James and Lapo Becherini, are respectively the physiotherapist, performance analyst and physical trainer of the current 8th player in the world.

“I am delighted to have extended my collaboration with the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy,” announced the native of Gentofte via his Instagram account on Friday, from Brisbane, the venue for the kick-off of his 2024 season.

After the end of his work with Patrick Mouratoglou, Holger Rune has turned to Boris Becker since October.

Two months after hiring Novak Djokovic’s ex-coach, he completed his staff by calling on Severin Lüthi, former strongman of Roger Federer’s team as coach from 2007 until the Swiss retired in 2022.

To give himself the means to achieve his dreams of Grand Slam titles and world number one, Holger Rune has built up a dream team.
