Works by Claudio Tolcachir, Leonor Benedetto and the Catalan Vanesa Monfort, will be part of the summer grid at Mar del Plata in independent rooms.
For the second time, the creator of Timbre 4 offers one of his most acclaimed texts to a cast of Mar del Plata artists.
After “The Wind in a Violin” -award-winning and highly successful at the box office- comes “Third Body – the story of an absurd attempt”, on Saturdays in January and February in The Theater Club (Rivadavia 3422), directed and staged by Diego García Lorente, performances by Vanina Alonso, Luna Milena Córdoba, Maui Romero, Gastón Rossi and Laura Sánchez.
Three workers, an office stagnant in time, a couple in permanent disagreement about love. The characters will converge in the same physical-temporal space, the third body. Basically we are talking about five unhappy lives, five desires to love and be loved.
In an immersive theatrical production, where the audience will follow the main character on a tour of Villa Victoria Ocampo (Matheu 1851) in the Los Troncos neighborhood, the actor Néstor Saied arrives under the direction (and writing) of Leonor Benedetto with “El café del Sr. Proust”.
It will be on Sundays the 7th, 21st and 28th, plus Tuesday, January 16th, and in February on Tuesdays the 6th, 13th and 20th, in addition to Sunday the 18th at 9pm. Saied represents Celeste Albaret, housekeeper of the renowned author of “In search for lost time”.
The humor will be provided by the premiere of the comedy “El galgo.” Written by the Spanish novelist and playwright Vanesa Montfort, this story ranges from animal protectionism, couples, to family, repressed desires and love in different forms.
It will be presented in Mar del Plata at the Hall Notary (Colón and Independencia) on January 6, 13, 14 and 15, and in Miramar at the Astral on Tuesdays 01/16, 23 and 30, under the direction of Sebastián González Hansen and a cast made up of Daina Pacenza, Claudio Alejandro, Adrián Szklar, Dana Mulieri and the special performance of Ricardo Larrama (The Manager).
