Top scorer in UEFA competitions 2020: Romelu Lukaku | UEFA Champions League

The top scorer in UEFA competitions in 2020 is Romelu Lukaku. In his three competitions for Inter and Belgium, he scored two goals more than Erling Braut Haaland (Dortmund and Norway).

Lukaku scored in all six of Inter’s UEFA Europa League games last season. Among other things, he also managed a goal in the defeated final against Sevilla. In the current UEFA Champions League, he came to double at home and away against Borussia Mönchengladbach. With five goals he also laid the foundation for Belgium’s entry into the finals of the UEFA Nations League.

After its first headlines in 2019, Haaland was able to impressively demonstrate its nose for goals in 2020. In Dortmund, the Norwegian, who is currently divided among the top scorers in the UEFA Champions League, is a lot of fun. Nobody scored more often in the league phase of the UEFA Nations League.

Eddie Nketiah, who scored eight goals for the England U21 national team and also caused a sensation in the Arsenal jersey in the UEFA Europa League, follows in third place.

Tessa Wullaert was the measure of all things with ten goals in UEFA women’s competitions. Noteworthy: Before September 18, she had not played a game in UEFA competitions! She started with a three-pack for Belgium in qualifying for UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 and scored five goals in the next three games. From November, the Belgian also stood out as Manchester City’s goalscorer in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
