Top Scorer AFF U-16 Cup 2022: Nabil Ashyura Soars

Muhammad Nabil Ashura occupy the top position in the list of top score AFF U-16 Cup 2022 after scoring for Indonesian National Team U-16 against Vietnam.

Nabil, who has always been installed as a main player in three matches in the preliminary round, scored again when Indonesia met Vietnam in the final match of the 2022 AFF U-16 Cup group stage.

The striker from West Sumatra scored the second goal of the Garuda Asia Squad against Vietnam, which was escorted by Pham Dinh Hai. The goal was also the decisive victory for the Indonesian U-16 national team over Vietnam.

Starting from a counter-attack made by the Indonesian U-16 National Team, the ball was then sent by Arkhan Kaka Putra to the front. The ball area was then successfully pursued by Nabil. With a right foot kick Nabil made the ball nest in the goal and the score changed.

Now Nabil has scored four goals in the 2022 AFF U-16 Cup. The other three goals were scored by Nabil when the U-16 Indonesian national team beat Singapore nine goals without reply.

Nabil is not alone at the top of the top scorer list. In addition to the player from Gasliko Limapuluh Kota, there are two other players who have also scored four goals to date, namely Alexandro Lemos from Timor Leste and Phan Thanh Duc Thien from Vietnam.

Nabil’s opportunity to add goals is still wide open because the Indonesian national team is certain to qualify for the semifinals.

Besides Nabil, other Indonesian U-16 national team players who have scored goals are Kafiatur Rizky (2 goals), I Komang Ananta Krisna, Arkhan Kaka, Hanif Ramadhan, Riski Afrisal, and Waliy Marifat (1 goal).
