Quality of delivery meals?
Takeaway boxes, home-delivered dinners or cocktails from a bag: Vincent van Dijk, culinary critic of the online platform FavorFlav, has been trying them all out lately. Van Dijk noticed that the quality of delivery meals that you have to finish at home is often better than a ready-made meal. “Sometimes it is a matter of warming up or putting it nicely on a plate, but then the result is better than when it is in a container and arrives lukewarm.”
Presentation is certainly very important at top restaurants, says Van Dijk. “Not only which tray, but also the napkins, a menu, a placemat and even a playlist or a candle will put you in a real restaurant mood. The feeling is enhanced by the different courses.”
