Luís Godinho and Nuno Almeida were the referees appointed to direct, respectively, Sp. Braga-Benfica and Sporting-FC Porto, respectively, the two big games of the 14th round of the I League and that they have the top four classified on the field, announced the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF), late this morning.
Sporting-FC Porto, a duel between the top two teams (both with 31 points) closes the day on Monday (8:15 p.m.), with Tiago Martins as the video referee. In Braga, from 8:30 pm on Sunday, in the other big duel of the round, Artur Soares Dias was appointed to VAR.
On Friday, in the game that opens the round, Cláudio Pereira is the referee, in an appointment that had already been announced on Wednesday.
On Saturday, Gustavo Correia officiates Rio Ave-Vizela, Manuel Oliveira of Arouca-Gil Vicente and Fábio Veríssimo of Boavista-Vitória.
On Sunday, in addition to Sp. Braga-Benfica, there are three more games and Iancu Vasilica referees Desp. Chaves-Casa Pia, André Narciso o Moreirense-Portimonense and Miguel Nogueira o Famalicão-Estoril.
Note the fact that João Pinheiro and Hugo Miguel, respectively referee and VAR in the previous round, at Vitória-Sporting, were not nominated for any game in the League competitions, in this round.
