Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto received medical equipment assistance from the Australian government, on Saturday (29/8/2020).
Symbolically, the medical equipment assistance was handed over by the Australian Ambassador to Indonesia HE Mr. Gary Quilan AO at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, Jakarta.
“This assistance is expected to help the Indonesian government in overcoming the Covid 19 pandemic,” Prabowo said through his official broadcast, Saturday (29/8/2020).
As for the total aid delivered, weighing 30 tons of medical equipment. This assistance is expected to reduce the burden on the Indonesian Government in fighting against the Covid-19 pandemic
Separately, the Spokesperson for the Minister of Defense for Public Communication and Inter-Agency Relations, Dahnil Anzar explained, assistance to receive medical devices from Australia is a form of joint commitment to fight Covid-19.
“The arrival of medical devices at Halim Perdana Kusuma Airport from the Australian Government is a form of commitment to help each other in fighting Covid 19,” Dahnil explained in uploading his Instagram account @dahnil_anzar_sim continuedak.
