Three of the most popular PIK videos in 2023 are related to the work of Slavi’s screenwriters. During the year, they managed to create several pieces for political figures, the most memorable being those for Lena Borislavova, Kiril Petkov and Boyko Borisov.
On January 5, the song about Lena was released. The arrangement of the track is taken from Petra’s 90’s cult song – “Predatory Hyena”. In the text, sung by the screenwriters themselves, they describe Borislavova as a “tired poop Lena, a hungry hyena” and recount her short political career.
In the clip for the song, two of PIK’s cult videos are used – from the staircase in front of the love apartment and from Thessaloniki.
“They promised me salaries, but only beds. They sent me abroad, ah abroad, I didn’t get away with it,” sing the screenwriters of Slavi.
“Enchanting nights, endless parties and with Nasko I smoked until dawn”, is another cult part of the song, accompanied by shots of the former Minister of Culture Atanas Atanasov, better known as “I am Nasko”.
“Ah fuck me on these railings. I’m going to enter the apartment at this hour. Let’s settle the scam with Kiro the prime minister, that I’m the one doing the bad things,” says one verse of the song, and the video for it is from the staircase in front of Borislavova’s love apartment and Petkov.
The second song of Slavi and the screenwriters was dedicated to Boyko Borisov. The song sings about Goranov, the sanctions under “Magnitsky” Mata Hari. “I swear – if you end up in Magnitsky, I will betray you! I only forgive Mata Hari,” reads part of the text. The song “Oath” by Crickets was used for the arrangement.
On July 24, the piece about Kiril Petkov came. Although Lena Borislavova filed a lawsuit against the leader of ITN and confiscated part of his fortune, the showman published the new piece entitled “Kiro’s Song” on his Facebook profile.
The clip begins with footage from the pre-election video of “We continue the change”, in which Kiril and Asen claim that Borisov and Peevski have been stealing for 12 years.
“Do we really want another 12 years with Borisov”, asks Asen Vasilev, and Petkov adds that it is time for Borisov to be retired.
“When he collected our immunity and Peevski called us to the office. Quickly, as soon as I smelled power, the assembly was done immediately – Boyko, Mustafa, Asen and I,” reads the first verse of the song.
“We also called my Kaka Lena, to barne, as best she can, 2-3 members. A constitution was made, we started the washing machine – Boyko, Mustafa, Asen and I,” Slavi and the screenwriters continue with the rhymes.
