PT Pertamina (Persero) posted a net profit of US$ 2.05 billion or around Rp. 29.3 trillion in 2021. Pertamina President Director Nicke Widyawati said the amount was almost double from the previous year.
Last year Pertamina recorded a net profit of US$ 1.05 billion or around Rp. 15 trillion. Total net profit increased by 95%.
“Alhamdulillah, at the AGM which was ratified this morning, we recorded a nearly doubled profit increase. We recorded Rp. 29 trillion in net profit, last year (2020) it was Rp. 15 trillion. This is Rp. 29.3 trillion,” Nicke said at the Editor-in-Chief forum. media at Grha Pertamina, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (8/6/2022).
He said that in 2021 Pertamina managed to score a revenue performance that increased by 39%. To be precise, it was US$ 57.51 billion from the initial US$ 41.47 billion in 2020.
Then Pertamina also recorded EBITDA of US$ 9.45 billion, 19% bigger than the previous year. In 2020 Pertamina’s EBITDA was recorded at US$ 7.95 billion.
“So in 2021 shareholders have approved and also received management reports for this achievement. Revenue increased by 39%, and net profit was 95%,” said Nicke.
“This is the result of our hard work in the midst of complicated conditions in 2021,” said Nicke.
