Top man at Moderna, known for corona vaccines, resigns after 1 day and still receives 700,000 dollars

Gomez came over from the American dental equipment manufacturer Dentsply Sirona. That company announced this week an internal investigation into possible abuses surrounding premiums paid when selling dental instruments. That investigation had already cost the big boss of Dentsply his job. Gomez resigned and started working at Moderna, but that didn’t last long.

As a severance payment, 54-year-old Gomez receives an amount that corresponds to an annual salary, good for 700,000 dollars, or more than 660,000 euros. He does waive his signing premium and other bonuses.
