Former US President Donald Trump has assembled overlapping teams of lawyers as he balances the growing legal threat against his 2024 election campaign to return to the White House.
Trump has pleaded not guilty to all charges in each of the three cases in which he has been indicted.

NEW YORK STATE HUSH MONEY CASE
Trump was accused in April of falsifying company records to orchestrate hush money payments to a porn actress for the 2016 election.
* Todd Blanche: Blanche, a former New York federal prosecutor and leading white-collar defense attorney, resigned from New York law firm Cadwalader Wickersham & Taft to represent Trump. He previously represented former Trump 2016 campaign chairman Paul Manafort and Igor Fruman, an aide to former New York mayor and Trump personal attorney Rudy Giuliani, in a campaign finance case. Corcoran stopped representing Trump in that investigation, but continued to advise on the election case. He appeared at Thursday’s arraignment, but did not sit at the defense table with the former president.
GEORGIA 2020 ELECTION CASE
Georgia prosecutor Fani Willis has been investigating attempts by Trump and his allies to interfere with the state’s post-election vote count in 2020. A jury is expected to file charges in the coming days and Trump can be indicted.
* Drew Findling: Findling is a prominent Georgia criminal defense attorney who has been nicknamed #BillionDollarLawyer for his past representation of hip-hop stars such as Cardi B and Gucci Mane.
