Top favorite Ukraine wins thanks to public support, televoters make Jérémie Makiese sink to 19th place

Ukraine has won the Eurovision Song Contest as expected. However, the country was not at the top of most of the lists of the professional juries. They chose the United Kingdom as the best act. But the public en masse sided with the country at war. The professional juries placed Belgium in the creditable middle bracket, but the public apparently did not like Jérémie Makiese.
