What to do in Brianza over the weekend: the events of Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd July
Like every Friday, we take stock of the appointments on Saturday and Sunday, thus offering some interesting ideas for those who stay in the city and are looking for ideas and initiatives in the area.
White night in Verano
Let’s start with the Notte Bianca in Verano Brianza. Aperitifs, open shops, music, dancing, games for children: Saturday 1 July will be an evening full of fun and entertainment in the town centre.
The initiative promoted by the Pro loco of Verona and by the Administration will be enlivened by many different moments: an aperitif was organized at 19.30 and there will be various banquets where you can get food. Four different corners will then be set up: in via Preda it will be possible to laugh with the comedian from Zelig, Enzo Emanuellowhile a cabaret show will take place in via Umberto I with Marisa Rampinthe «Divina» singer and actress.
For those who instead want to have fun with singing, they will have to go to the small square where the rock-pop cover band «Karisma» will be playing, while those who love to dance will have to move to the small square Liberazione where there will be Jose music live band, a trumpeter singer who will unleash the public.
In the White Night, during which not only bars, ice cream parlors, but also shops will be open, two play areas will also be set up for the little ones: one in Piazza Cesana and one in Via Preda.
Miss Giussano
“Miss Giussano under the stars” warms up the engines for the 2023 edition, the number twelve of the event which has now entered the hearts of Giussano and non-Giussan citizens. The appointment is for Saturday 1 July, at 21, in Villa Sartirana to see who will succeed the beautiful Sarah Bernardi, last year’s winner. Thirteen girls in the race who will “challenge” to win the title. The event will be hosted by Davide Colavini, actor, author and teacher of theater and acting. Here all the information.
Events in Meda
In Meda tomorrow, Saturday 1 July, at 5 pm in via Vignazzola, the inauguration of the same portion of the Bosco delle Querce, a moment awaited for years by the citizens, given that the Sevese portion has been accessible for some time after the Icmesa disaster of 1976. A delegation from Legambiente will also be present to illustrate the history of this part of the park. After the ceremony, dinner in white will take place in the middle of nature, with musical accompaniment.
Sports night in Vimercate
There are also many appointments in Vimercate. Tomorrow, Saturday 1 July 2023, the eighth edition of Sports nightthe multi-sport event at night, organized by the Vimercatese MADE Sport association, which every year welcomes an increasing number of sports activities (more than 20 this year), as well as 3 tournaments and a night race, the Brush run.
The activities will begin in the afternoon (4.00 pm) and will continue throughout the evening, to conclude late at night with the finals and the awarding of the winners.

Events in Agrate Brianza
On 2 July, the Fabbrica dei Talenti Showcase will be held, the closing event of the Fabbrica dei Talenti project, carried out with the contribution of the Lombardy Region. During the showcase, the results of the workshops that involved young talents from the Agratese area in various disciplines will be exhibited, the preview of a more complete and structured exhibition to be held in mid-September at the Cittadella della Cultura.
In addition, a free beatmaking workshop with the musician and DJ will be offered Ryan O’Conner. The evening will culminate with live rap and hip hop performances by local artists. The event is organized by the Onlus Sulè Association and by the Pinamonte Association thanks to the contribution of the Lombardy Region.
In Concorezzo, dinner under the stars
Occasioni di (P)tasting is back, the traditional appointment that transforms the historic center of Concorezzo into an open-air restaurant. The initiative is organized by the traders’ association with the patronage of the Municipality and is scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday 1 July.
Starting from 7pm in via Libertà people will be able to dine or have an aperitif choosing from the specialties prepared by the restaurants in the centre. Tables and benches will be positioned throughout the street so as to be able to sit down and taste the chosen dishes in a festive atmosphere. The offer will be large. There are 23 places that have joined the event and each one will prepare a particular specialty. They range from Brianza specialties with risotto alla Monzese and cutlet, passing through specialties from other regions such as arrosticini, Sardinian suckling pig, buffalo mozzarella, pizza and sandwich with lamprey, ending with ice creams and desserts. All accompanied by beer and fresh sangria.
The event will kick off at 7pm and continue throughout the evening. At 9.00 pm in Piazza della Pace a concert by the Too Nite Show (pop, rock, funky and disco band) is scheduled. Martial arts demonstrations will also take place in Piazza del Donatore starting at 4 pm, with moments of play with the participants, organized by the Ronin sports association.
In Villasanta cinema and music
Saturday dedicated to cinema in Villasanta with the “Cinema in Villa” 2023 review. It starts tomorrow with a free-entry film offered by the Municipal Administration.
Appointment with music on Sunday 2 July. In the courtyard of Villa Camperio gospel and pop choirs are staged outdoors. Admission is free
White Night of Ceriano
Saturday 1st July, the White Night returns to Ceriano Laghetto. The 2023 Fish Festival archived with a resounding success, now the anticipation for tomorrow is growing, when from the afternoon until well into the night, Ceriano Laghetto will experience another eagerly awaited appointment with its marathon of events, shows and entertainment for everyone tastes, in the central area of the town.
The list of attractions and events is really long: we point out the art shows and displays set up in the Library and in the council room, the car tuning in piazzale Martiri delle Foibe, vintage objects and vintage cars in Via Cadorna. From 6 pm at Giardinone archery and horseback riding, at 8.30 pm in via Volta corner with Mazzini dog parade, from 9 pm in piazza Lombardia concert “Alima’s route” with covers by international singer-songwriters, in via I Maggio “Lucamussari music” , then in piazza Diaz from 8.30 pm the dance schools, at 9.30 pm the fashion show in via Cadorna, from 10.30 pm the concert of The Funky machine in the square and from 11 pm the fire eaters in via Mazzini, But there will be also itinerant waders and inflatables for children, train, water bubbles, mini quads, face painting. Events in Monza
In the city of Monza the appointments with the Fuori Festival del Parco are back, the event created and realized in collaboration with Suoni Mobili, a project by Musicamorphosi founder member and member of the Promoting Committee of the Monza Park Festival.
DSunday 2 July, at 11, at Villa Mirabello, in Cardinal Durini’s private chapel we will find the cellist Giovanni Astorino who will perform in the Revolution Cello concert with a proposal that ranges from Evaristo Felice dall’Abaco (Capricci) to Bach (Suite number III) . A unique opportunity to listen to the extraordinary cello music in a precious place that is not usually open to the public.

Banksy. Painting Walls a Monza
It opens today, Friday 30 June and will be open until 5 November 2023 at the Orangerie of the Villa Reale in Monza the exhibition Banksy. Painting Walls, a major exhibition event dedicated to the most famous name in international contemporary street art. On display more than seventy original works including three original walls (portions of a wall) by the British artist. Three extraordinary pieces from private collections, painted by Banksy in 2009, 2010 and 2018, made in London, Devon and Wales.
Things to do in Lisbon
Also in Lissone various events on the weekend of Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd July. In particular, for tomorrow, at 1 pm, the national roller ski competition (Sprint TL for men and women) is scheduled in via Don Minzoni, part of the Coppa Italia NextPro 2023 circuit organized by the Italian Winter Sports Federation. The event is curated by ASD Polisportiva Team Brianza, FISI – Italian Winter Sports Federation and Ski Club Lissone.
On the other hand, on Sunday 2 July, from 3 to 10 pm, the opening event of the Skatepark in via Perosi will take place. The space, built on a portion of land located in the immediate vicinity of the cycle-pedestrian path of Viale della Repubblica and the Istituto Superiore Europa Unita, is intended to give young citizens who are passionate about and practice roller sports and BMX the opportunity to devote themselves sporty.
The event is organized in collaboration with the “Noi Mamme di Lissone” Association.
Party at Tittoni Park in Desio
In Desio, the review of events at Parco Tittoni continues. Tomorrow, Saturday 1 July the second NASTY SILENT with silent disco start at 10.00 pm.
On Sunday 2nd July, however, the Gli Impossibili concert is scheduled with the punk rock of Succo Marcio. A dive into the early 2000s with the band “baptized” by Green Day, one of the most iconic realities of the Italian independent scene of those times.
