Compared to the first six months of last year, “Citroen C3” has experienced the greatest increase in popularity in the 20 most purchased cars in Europe, which, with 102,304 units on the sale, has increased sales by half and is in 7th place overall.
“Volkswagen Golf” also made a big jump, and its sales number increased by 43% and with 126,993 sales, it allowed the model to take the 2nd place on the sales chart. “Tesla Model Y” suffered the biggest fall, however, keeping its place in the top 20 sellers – 101,181 models of this car were sold in Europe in six months, which is 26% less than in the corresponding period last year. “Opel Corsa” also became worse in sales than the previous year, which was in 14th place with a decrease of 18% and 87,102 selling models. The six-month sales figures for the chart-topping Dacia Sandero show that Europeans wanted this car almost twice as much as the 20th best-selling Volkswagen Tiguan (143,596 units per compared to 74,675).
