April has started! Therefore, the billboard of the University Theater (Florencio Varela 1903, San Justo) is renewed with shows that will entertain, surprise and make viewers of different ages and cities reflect. On the grid, there will be titles linked to music, comedy and dialogues.
Friday, April 5: Opera
With ten years of experience, the lyrical group Heromade up of Alejandro Falcone, Federico Picone and Sebastián Russo, will be presented on April 5 at 9 p.m. This show will bring together the greatest hits of the Opera, the canzonettas and the most emblematic pieces of popular music.
The public will be able to enjoy versions of “Nessun dorma”, “O sole mio”, “Caruso”, “Bella Ciao”, “Volare”, “Il mondo” and “Fiesta”. These unforgettable classics are revisited with vocal play and wonderful performance, within a unique style.
Friday, April 19: a hilarious comedy
At 9 p.m. the successful work will be presented Antigone in the bathroom, starring Verónica Llinás, Esteban Lamothe and Héctor Díaz. The story begins when Ignacia (Llinás), a star from another time, is about to appear on stage after a long exile on television. At her age, and the decay of her body, other unspeakable fears are added, and a question arises: who are her allies to overcome such a moment?
Then, the son of his usual representative (Lamothe) and an unusual “ontological coach” (Díaz) appear on the scene. Will this equipment be enough to face the wrath of the gods, when the unappealable forces of Destiny manifest themselves? Humor will tell!
Friday, April 26: tango return
For lovers of tango, suburban songs and the charming dance that takes a shine to the floor, comes Master Tango to the University Theater. Led by the singer and actress Cecilia Milone, who already shone with Dracula in the UNLaM hall, the spectacular show will be on April 26 at 9 p.m. and the public will be able to enjoy an exciting night.
Saturday April 27: Argentine stories
At 8 p.m., led by the renowned historian Felipe Pigna and the acclaimed screenwriter Pedro Saborido, the public will enjoy anecdotes about national heroes and figures in an incredible encounter: Argentine stories. Together with the spectators, both will try to understand, analyze, think and reflect on the wide range of varied local stories.
