Top Boat Shows in the Mediterranean: Cannes, Genoa, and Monaco

France opens the boat show season today and the three most important boat shows in the Mediterranean Sea are on their way to being sold out. The Cannes show opens today until September 17th, then it’s Genoa’s turn from the 21st to the 26th, and finally Monaco from the 27th to the 30th.

In particular, at the 63rd international boat show in Genoa there will be 1,043 brands (+4.5%), 143 more places in the water thanks to the new channels opened this year, 184 new products (+9.5%) and more than a thousand boats exhibited in total. In research by McKinsey & Company it is noted that “the average age of shipowners will see a further reduction because in the 35-45 year age group they are very attentive to the issues of technological innovation and sustainability, and the nautical sector has carried out a series of actions to achieve a significant reduction in environmental impact compared to the past”.

In the wake of this important observation and also moving towards other targets of absolute value, in terms of quality and engineering, let’s see which motoryachts the Viareggio companies will put on display and on test at the shows. Next Yacht Group brings the AB Yacht 80 and 100 and the Maiora 35 Exuma to Cannes. In Genoa it has the Maiora 30, and in Monaco the AB 100 and the Maiora 35 Exuma. Benetti, in Cannes, exhibits the Motopanfilo 37M, and the two Oasis 37M and 40M. In Monaco, however, it is present with the large B.Now 50M and B.Now 50M with Oasis Dec.

Azimut also participates in Genoa with some new products: Magellano 60′, Verve 48′, S 7, Fly 72′. Obviously the same boats are exhibited in Cannes. While in Monaco there will be the 36 meter Grande, as well as other important yachts. Furthermore, at the three shows the brand presents a series of other boats already known and appreciated. Rossinavi, in Monaco, showcases two giants: 50-metre No Stress and 66-metre Alchemy.

Overmarine exhibits the Mangusta 104Rev and the Mangusta GranSport in Cannes. In Monaco, there will be the Mangusta Oceano 50 meters and the Mangusta GranSport.

Some of the main Versilia naval supply and accessory companies are present at the three salons, with dedicated spaces and stands: a sector experiencing strong growth year after year, and a leader in the development of new energy saving and environmental protection technologies.
