Nikola Jokic to Sign the Biggest Contract Ever in the NBA. The star player of Denver Nuggets is signing a five-year contract worth 270 million dollars (almost 258 million euros), his agents confirm to Friday. ESPN.

Jokic was named the NBA’s Most Valuable Regular League Player for the past two seasons. He has been one of the top scorers of the largest basketball league in the world for years.

The 27-year-old Serb has been playing in the NBA since 2015 for the Nuggets, who had to lose in the first round of the play-offs last season against the later champions Golden State Warriors.

With his mega contract, Jokic takes over the record from Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Milwaukee Bucks star signed a five-year contract worth about 228 million dollars (218 million euros) a year and a half ago. Bradley Beal also broke that record almost simultaneously with Jokic. He signed a five-year contract with Washington Wizards worth $251 million.

“If there is an offer on the table, I will of course accept it. I love this organization and the people who work here,” said ‘The Joker’, who will be with his club until mid-2028 due to his new contract.
