Seven of Europe’s top footballers must bury their dreams of competing in the competition Euro 2020. Who are they?
Euro 2020 opened on Saturday (12/6/2021) early morning WIB. The highest competition in the Blue Continent was held in 11 cities and was attended by 24 participating countries.
Apart from being a place to fight for the Henry Delauney trophy, Euro 2020 is also the stage for Europe’s top footballers at the international level. However, there are also players who cannot play for their country for various reasons.

1. Sergio Ramos (Spanish)
Ramos had to settle for being a spectator at the Euro 2020 competition. The Real Madrid star was not included in the squad Spanish National Team under coach Luis Enrique.
There’s a reason why Enrique didn’t include Ramos in his squad at Euro 2020. He assesses the 35-year-old player is not in top condition, and has minimal playing time in Madrid this season due to injury.
2. Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Sweden)

3. Ferland Mendy (French)
Mendy performed well with Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid. He became a pillar in the left-back sector The whites, displacing the position previously filled by Marcelo.
The 26-year-old suffered a shin injury in mid-May and only recovered last week. Mendy’s short preparation time made him not get a call from French National Team.
