Redwood City – Fans of the football simulation EA Sports FC 25 can look forward to many new cards in the Ultimate Team mode. The best 50 players have already been leaked on various social media platforms. The debates about the ratings are already in full swing. Too high, too low or just right?

The 90+ Club shrinks from 13 players to 11, a very special player drops out – the end of an era
In EA FC 24, there were still a whopping 13 players who had a rating of 90 or higher. In the latest offshoot, this value drops slightly to 11. Among those who are being kicked out of the “90s club” is superstar Lionel Messi. Since Fifa 10, the Argentinian has had a 90+ rating in Ultimate Team 15 times in a row – truly the end of an era. Also out are Robert Lewandowski, Karim Benzema, Thibaut Courtois and Marc-André ter Stegen.
New additions include the two stars from Real Madrid, Vinícius Júnior and Jude Bellingham, as well as midfield strategist Rodri from Manchester City. The number six jumps up two ratings and, together with Aitana Bonmatí, Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappé, can count himself among the four best players in the world – at least according to EA.
