5th and 4th place: Matheus Cunha and Vincenzo Grifo (31 shots each)

Matheus Cunha gave up 20 of his 31 shots on goal in the second half. Only Andre Silva came to a conclusion once more often in halftime 2. Of his 6 goals this season (Hertha best value), Cunha scored half in the first half.
Vincenzo Grifo fired 28 of his 31 shots on goal this season with his strong right foot – throughout the league only Robert Lewandowski scored more often with his right. Most recently, Grifo scored against Hertha with a head. After 22 Bundesliga goals with the right, he was successful for the first time in the Bundesliga with another body part.
3rd place: Wout Weghorst (33 shots on goal)

Wout Weghorst gave a third of his shots on goal (11) in the final quarter of an hour. No player in the league came to a close more often in the last 15 minutes of the season than the Dutchman, who also scored the most goals in the final quarter of an hour (4, like Sasa Kalajdzic). With his nine goals he played a big part in VfL Wolfsburg’s strong 4th place.

Andre Silva fired 38 of his 43 shots on goal from inside the penalty area – Bundesliga top! The Portuguese is really getting going in his second Bundesliga season: With nine goals, he is third on the top scorer list and is responsible for almost half of Frankfurt’s 21 goals. The sale of Bas Dost to Club Bruges is also possible because Eintracht can rely on their shooting number 33.

Top scorer Robert Lewandowski (17 goals this season) also gave the most shots on goal and converted 7 of his 10 big chances. The world footballer confirms his outstanding form from the triple season and scores even more often: Last season he scored 16 goals after 13 match days – one less than currently.
