Choosing a new phone is a rather complicated matter these days. Manufacturers are increasing, as are individual models and their successors. So in today’s article we will take a look at which Android phones do people in the Czech Republic like the most. From the list, we automatically removed those from Apple, which are among the best-selling phones in the Czech Republic, and three of them are in the TOP 5 according to the Heureka server.
What are the best-selling phones in the Czech Republic?
Samsung Galaxy A33 5G A336 6GB/128GB
The Samsung Galaxy A33 5G is the best-selling Android phone in the Czech Republic. This is due not only to well-managed marketing by the South Korean company, but also to relatively good equipment. You can certainly get a phone with better performance for a similar amount, but the Galaxy A33 5G is a well-balanced phone that basically lacks nothing. It has a quality display, sufficient performance, satisfactory cameras and, last but not least, excellent software support.

- Exynos 1280, 4/6/8GB RAM, 128/256GB storage
- 5000mAh battery, 25W wired charging

Samsung Galaxy A53 5G A536 6GB/128GB
In second place was a phone from Samsung again, this time the successor to the highly successful Galaxy A52s. Compared to the Galaxy A33 5G, it offers a display with a higher refresh rate for an additional fee of approximately 1,200 CZK, but mainly better cameras. Again, we can count on perfect software support. Owners can count on the fact that their Galaxy A53 will even see Android 16. The phone was introduced a year ago with Android 12. What other mobile in the mid-range can boast four major updates?
- 6.5″ Super AMOLED, 2400 x 1080 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate
- Exynos 1280, 4/6/8GB RAM, 128/256GB storage
- 5000mAh battery, 25W wired charging
- 64 Mpx main + 12 Mpx ultra-wide + 5 Mpx macro + 5 Mpx depth
- stereo speakers, fingerprint reader in the display, IP67 certification
- Android 13 with One UI 5.1 superstructure

Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro 8GB/256GB
Third place is a bit surprising. Czechs still love the more than two-year-old Redmi Note 10 Pro. Even after such a time, this phone is able to offer competitive specifications, such as a 120Hz AMOLED display, a still sufficient Snapdragon 732G or a 108Mpx main camera. This piece has even already received Android 13, so users are basically missing nothing.
- 6.67″ AMOLED, 2400 x 1080 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G, 6/8GB RAM, 64/128GB storage
- 5020mAh battery, 33W wired charging

Xiaomi Redmi Note 11S 6GB/128GB
The Redmi Note 11S is last year’s model, which is trying to appeal to customers who want a good mobile phone under five thousand. The Helio G96 chipset is quite decent and is enough not only for smooth browsing of the system and applications, but also for gaming. Of course, you will have to make some concessions in the graphics settings, but most games run smoothly on it. In combination with a 90Hz AMOLED display and a 108MP camera, it is again a solid purchase.
- 6.43″ AMOLED, 2400 x 1080 pixels, 90Hz refresh rate
- MediaTek Helio G96, 6/8GB RAM, 64/128GB storage
- 5000mAh battery, 33W wired charging
- 108 Mpx main + 8 Mpx ultra-wide + 2 Mpx macro + 2 Mpx depth
- stereo speakers, fingerprint reader on the side, IP53 certification
- Android 12 with MIUI 13 superstructure
- Price: from 4,848 CZK
Xiaomi Redmi 9A 2GB/32GB
The Redmi 9A is a very basic phone that you can buy for less than two thousand. You can’t expect miracles at this price and it is therefore only suitable for undemanding users who do not suffer from a high-quality display, good cameras or fast charging. However, it can be a satisfying choice for children or older people who are just getting to know smartphones.
- 6.53″ IPS LCD, 1600 x 720 pixels, 60Hz refresh rate
- MediaTek Helio G25, 2/3/4/6GB RAM, 32/64/128GB storage
- 5000mAh battery, 10W wired charging
