Group phases Euro 2020 (Euro 2021) scored 94 goals in 36 games, but there are some top players who are still not on the scoresheet.
Now Cristiano Ronaldo became the top scorer with five goals, followed by goal-hungry players like Romelu Lukaku and Robert Lewandowski. In addition, there were also surprise names, such as Patrik Schick and Emil Forsberg who also scored three goals.
While some players have shown their sharpness in breaking into the opponent’s goal, there are some players who are still goalless until the Euro 2020 group phase is over.
Some of them are mainstay players who started in their respective teams and even entered as top score candidates before Euro 2020 started.
Here are the top five players at Euro 2020 who still haven’t scored:
1. Harry Kane (England)
Three times appearing as a starter for The Three Lions, Kane failed to score. The most fertile player in the 2018 World Cup originally entered the top ranks in the betting market for the top scorer for Euro 2020.
Kane in the 2020/2021 season competition also became the top scorer in the Premier League, making his name championed as the sharpest in the Euros.
Kane lost sharply to Raheem Sterling, who has scored twice and became England’s top scorer at Euro 2020.
The Tottenham Hotspur player appeared for 246 minutes. Kane was replaced by Jude Bellingham in the first game, replaced by Marcus Rashford in the second, and only played 90 minutes in the third. From three games Kane only fired five shots.
