Sony has just announced that it has officially purchased game studio Bungie for USD 3.6 billion or around Rp. 51.7 trillion.

Bungie is a major game studio that has successfully released the Destiny series and is the original creator of the famous first person shooter (FPS) game, Halo.

“Bungie will continue to independently launch games and develop our games creatively,” wrote Bungie CEO Pete Parsons.
