We innovate and experiment to reach people and help them make healthy choices. Our board has chosen four innovative projects that will help us make healthy normal.
In 2024, three project leaders will start realizing their innovative ideas! They do this in collaboration with municipalities, partners and project ambassadors. After a written voting round, our general board chose the projects:
Desire to have children in vulnerable circumstances
A healthy and happy life starts even before pregnancy.
The health of expectant parents and the development of their unborn child largely determine the health of future generations.
With our proposal we establish a collaboration between the social and medical domains around prevention during the preconception phase. This focuses on people in a vulnerable situation who do want to have children. Investing in prevention starts when you want to have children.
Existential Prevention: ‘Connecting the Disconnect’
This initiative is an exploration of opportunities for ‘existential prevention’ in the guidance of young people with (incipient) psychological problems. Through SCRUM-related methods, collaborating JGZ professionals develop a conversation model for meaningful conversations for young people aged 13 – 18. Meaningful conversations lead to improved mental health through awareness of personal values, strengthening energy and resilience and providing ‘direction and focus’.
Healthier, happier and live longer in Rosmalen: Rosmalen as the 6th blue zone!
The use of the four health principles that Annenborch applies (delicious food & drinks, social contacts, exercise and looking forward to the day) ensures health promotion for the residents of Rosmalen.
By letting these principles guide what we do, we want to become the sixth blue zone in the world, a place where people grow old without chronic disabilities. In a community that takes care of each other and therefore experiences more social profit and value.
In addition, the project ‘Reducing the number of children growing up in development poverty in the first 1000 days’ has been extended due to its success.
