Looking for new dining spots in Toronto for this year’s Victoria Day long weekend? OpenTable has compiled a list of the 25 most popular outdoor dining spots in Canada to help you choose. With more than 1 million reviews from verified diners from March 1, 2022 to Feb. 28, 2023, OpenTable compared the overall rating, number of reviews, and “user klout” to determine the top 100 restaurants. This year’s list features 59 restaurants in Ontario, the highest number of any province. British Columbia follows with 21 restaurants and Quebec has nine.
Two spots from Toronto named in last year’s list have returned: Allen’s on Danforth Avenue, known for its “chic” terrace, and Oretta Midtown, which boasts a “pretty-in-pink” patio. OpenTable also discovered Italian food is the preferred cuisine among diners when eating alfresco.
