Inaugural Derby on the program for these Fan Days. A beautiful poster which opposed Castres to Stade Toulousain in a duel for the play-off places. A try from Barlot and kicks from Fernandez, Botica and Dumora allowed the Tarnais to win 19-13 and point to the 4e position in the ranking. In the Massif Central derby, ASM collected 5 points by beating CAB 41-10. Raka, Lee, Penaud and Moala crossed the Corrézienne goal line and Clermont is still in the race for qualification. Traveling to Biarritz, Pau offered a great success by having the BO 19-42. Same observation for the MHR which consolidated its first place by bringing back the victory of Perpignan 13-23. The biggest blow of this day is to be determined between the wins away from Toulon or La Rochelle. The RCT overthrew Gerland with a wide bonus success 10-43 and tries from Isa, Kolbe, Villière and Hériteau.
Stunning La Rochelle and Racing 92 back
At Chaban-Delmas the score was tighter but the intensity just as strong. Indeed, it was necessary to wait for the 80e minute to see the Stade Rochelais win thanks to the boot and the composure of West 15-16. The final derby of this day was however much less close since Racing 92 largely defeated Stade Français with a score of 53-20. An improved success which is good for the Racingmen after two setbacks in a row and allows them to move up into the top 6.
