Due to a dislocation of the left shoulder, the French left pillar Thierry Paiva will not be able to play again this season with his club Bordeaux-Bègles.
Hard blow for Bordeaux-Bègles. Indeed, Christophe Urios’ UBB will have to finish this 2020-21 Rugby Top 14 season without Thierry Paiva. The left pillar will not be able to play again in this exercise, due to an injury to the left shoulder, as announced by his club itself, via a press release published on its official website. An injury which then forced the main interested party to leave his partners prematurely, this Saturday evening, on the occasion of the 26th and last day of Top 14, disputed and lost against Stade Toulousain (10-21). This season, the rugby player has played a total of 19 games.

Paiva suffers from a dislocation
However, the Frenchman will therefore not be able to respond this Saturday evening, against Clermont, for the play-off scheduled at 8:45 p.m., nor then for the possible continuation and end of the final phase of the 2020-21 season of the French championship of France. Top 14, if his team then obviously managed to qualify. A package confirmed after a medical examination, which revealed a dislocation of this famous left shoulder. It is therefore a new blow for the UBB, with this new absence after that of Jandre Marais, suspended. For his part, the second row Cyril Cazeaux must also go to the disciplinary committee this Wednesday.
