The former USAP player was taking exams following an injury during the match against Agen.
The second international line of Toulon Romain Taofifenua, left prematurely during the victory in front of Agen (34-17), “is in the hospital” to take exams, announced Saturday the general manager of the RCT Patrice Collazo.
“The exit of Romain (Taofifenua, Editor’s note) hurt us. He is in the hospital. He is taking exams”, explained Collazo after the meeting, game late for the 22nd day of the Top 14.
Taofifenua (30 years old, 25 caps) came out after 7 minutes of play, replaced by Thomas Hoarau when receiving the SUA.
“Tao”, who will join Lyon next season, was injured in a scrum, visibly injured in the neck.
