The Football Observatory (CIES) has drawn up a list of the 100 footballers under the age of 23 who have gained the most value in the last six months. The organization indicates that the SL Benfica athlete’s pass was valued at 73 million euros.
João Neves’ performances for SL Benfica in the current sporting season earned him an increase of 73 million in the value of his pass, according to a survey by the Football Observatory (CIES) covering the last six months.
The increase in value since October places him in second place among players under 23 whose value has increased the most since October, only beaten by Lamine Yamal, a young Barcelona footballer who is just 16 years old. It should be noted that Neves became international for Portugal in the period under review, on October 16th.
The analysis included a total of 459 players, and CIES published a list that presents the 100 that most valued. At stake are athletes representing 55 clubs from a total of 12 leagues.
From the “Eagles” club, Ukrainian Anatoliy Trubin (22 years old) is also on the list, whose value rose by 43 million euros, up to 76 million in the period under review. The Portuguese championship is represented not only by Benfica, but also by Sporting and FC Porto.
There are two other Portuguese in this ‘top-100’. The first of them is Francisco Conceição (21 years old), who is a FC Porto player and whose assigned value increased by 28 million euros, up to 43 million. Next is Tiago Santos (21 years old), a Lille player who valued 17 million, for a total of 27 million euros.
From FC Porto it is also possible to find Otávio Ataíde, whose value has increased by 13 million euros since October and reached 19 million. Sporting appears on the list with the name of Ousmane Diomandé (20 years old), who is worth 33 million euros more than he was six months ago, now at 73 million euros.
