The Henley Passport Index of the world’s most powerful passports is out. The Henley Passport Index 2024, which ranks passports, has been released. Indian Passport is ranked 80th in this list. Indian passport holders can travel to 62 countries without a visa. Along with India, Uzbekistan also ranks 80th. Pakistan is at the 101st position in the list.
Like last year, Singapore and Japan have topped the Henley Passport Index. The passports of these two countries have continued to be the strongest passports in the Henley Index for the past five years. But this year, this index has made more. Along with Singapore and Japan, four other European countries are in the top spot. These countries are France, Germany, Italy and Spain. Passport holders of these six countries can travel between 194 and 227 countries without a visa. South Korea, Sweden and Finland are ranked second in the Henley Passport Index along with the United States. Passport holders of these countries can visit 193 places without a visa.
Austria, Denmark, Ireland and the Netherlands are third on the list, according to a Bloomberg report. Passport holders of these countries can travel to 192 countries. The Gulf country United Arab Emirates (UAE) has advanced the most in this list. Last year, the UAE was ranked 14th in the Henley Passport Index. But this time, UAE Passport stands at a strong 11th position. UAE passport holders can visit 182 destinations without a visa.
Meanwhile, China improved two places this year. Currently China’s ranking is 62. Chinese passport holders can enter 85 places without a visa. For China, this has doubled the number of countries where visa-free travel has been possible over the past 10 years.
President of immigration consultancy Henley and Partners Dr. Christian Kellin said. But the gap between the passports of the most powerful and least powerful countries is widening, he said.

UAE tops Arton Capital Passport Ranking
At the start of the new year, financial advisory firm Arton Capital released the Passport Index for the first quarter of 2024. The UAE passport is ranked as the strongest passport in this index. The passport had a mobility score of 180, meaning passport holders could travel freely to 180 countries.
India is ranked 66th in this index. The mobility score of Passport of India is 77. In this list, Pakistan was among the countries with the least powerful passports with a mobility score of 47.
