Top 10 Most Borrowed Books in New York Libraries 2023

The title that was most borrowed in 2023 in New York’s approximately 90 libraries tells the story of a nonconformist cook in a patriarchal America: Lessons in Chemistry, written by Bonnie Garmus. This is his first novel, published in 2022 by Doubleday and translated the same year by Robert Laffont under the title: Chemistry Lessons – The Brilliant Destiny of Elizabeth Zott.
