We continue the theme of add-ons, which we started at the very beginning of February. As we assessed relatively quickly inside the editorial office, one ten is definitely not enough to list extensions that fully deserve a broader description. Then it turned out that even preparing the second one involves the need to give up a few more interesting morsels. I had to throw out a lot of valued additions, hesitating from one item to another until the last moment. The effects of this strict selection can be found on the following pages of my list. Dread to think what would happen if all kinds of DLC from other platforms were included…

Although DLC or add-ons (in fact, these terms have long since merged) are generally not held in high esteem, from time to time there will be some gems. In order not to look far, even in 2022 it would be possible to pick something. Dead Cells got The Queen and the Sea, in a very ingenious way introducing attractive content that significantly extends the gameplay. Fans of Lost Judgment, in turn, could play The Kaito Files, where they take over a new case in the skin of another detective, and of course, a DLC showing the events 15 years later appeared in the great Resident Evil Village. Over each of these, at least for a moment, I wondered if the kitchen door should not lead to the top ten.
We continue our way through the best add-ons that came to personal computers. Just like last time, I mixed some old titles with great offers from the last decade.
TOP 10 best add-ons for PC games – Part 1. Warcraft III, Half-Life, Baldurs Gate II, Dark Souls and many more
The games that fell from the final list include both DLC episodes of the immortal Half-Life 2, which are still too uneven. I was also hesitant to introduce my beloved Ringed City until the end. The Dark Souls 3 expansion not only impresses with one of the best-created levels in the history of the genre, but is also a perfect culmination of the entire trilogy. Ultimately, however, the addition to the first part was included in the previous ten, so I decided to give others a chance.
TOP 10 most promising games of 2023: Hogwarts Legacy, Resident Evil 4, Final Fantasy XVI, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2…
Anyway, I have collected quite a large set of various items, and each of them enriches its basic version in a slightly different way. So while Yuri’s Revenge typically adds even more of the same – why change things that are so close to perfection – there will also be room for Reaper of Souls, a real lifeline for the third Diablo. You will also read, for example, about games that simply add a completely new, attractive story to play (e.g. Burial at Sea or DLC for Borderlands 2). So everyone should find something that suits them better.
