MOSCOW – A female journalist accused of being sympathizers of the Russian President Vladimir Putin as a “special operations” weapon United States of America (USA) to outwit the Kremlin’s number one. Allegations surfaced after Putin called the journalist too beautiful.

The drama begins when journalists CNBC Hadley Gamble interviewed Putin on stage during the “Russian Energy Week” panel in Moscow last week.

At the time, Gamble attacked the president with sexist comments, with Putin saying he was too beautiful and attractive to understand his comments on Russia’s gas policy. The leader, who is a former intelligence agent, has repeatedly called Gamble “beautiful”.

Now, a string of Putin sympathizers, including prominent Russian media figures, have stepped up attacks on Gamble. They accuse him of being a US “special operations” weapon designed to distract Putin with his feminine charms.

The allegations come just weeks after a former White House official accused Putin of deliberately bringing in a pretty translator to distract then-US president Donald Trump during the 2019 summit.

After Gamble’s interview with Putin, Russia’s “60 Minutes” host, Olga Skabeeva, claimed that Gamble was part of a US “special operation” against Putin.

“Let me remind you that recently there was a big scandal when it turned out that Putin brought translator Daria Boyarskaya into his negotiations with Donald Trump…Look Comrade Gamble, she is beautiful too,” he said.

“Look at Megyn Kelly, she was the woman the Americans brought in last time. He has blonde hair, this time he has brown hair,” he said, as reported by The Daily Beast, Tuesday (19/10/2021).
