Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2: Towards a Switch release?

While a remake of the first two Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater is announced on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, a Switch edition could also see the light of day.

Activision made the news last May, announcing a remake of the first two games in the series Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater. Two illustrious games, the second of which remains one of the highest rated games of all time.

Initially planned for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC consoles, a Switch version of this remake could be under study … Images unveiled by @DarthBellic on Twitter show a Nintendo Switch in portable mode, Joy-Con and a Pro Controller. However, these images would be dataminated in the files of the game. They would come from the demo currently available to all those who have pre-ordered the remake.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 on Switch? Hard to say …

However, it is impossible to say if these images point to a discontinued Switch version, or on the contrary, to come. Activision could nevertheless choose a strategy similar to that adopted for the N. Sane Trilogy or the Sypro Reignated Trilogy. Namely, to announce and port the games on Nintendo Switch a little after having announced them on consoles and PC.

To be continued. In the meantime, this remake will be available from September 4, 2020. Players who have pre-ordered the title can already enjoy it, since August 14.
