In the latest episode of The Bachelor we saw how Tony gave his last rose to the blissful Julia. We are now three months further and the Netherlands is anxiously waiting for the answer to that one question: are the lovebirds still together? The answer is unfortunately: no. “We had fun for four or five weeks,” says the DJ candidly. “After that I got to a kind of point where I got confused and for a moment I didn’t know what to listen to anymore (…) I noticed that I had to be free for a while.”
While the DJ is telling his story, he breaks down and indicates that he finds it difficult to talk about this. “We had a good time, but we also had some shit and that hurt me (…) It wasn’t really what I wanted, but I just wasn’t comfortable in my own skin.”

Julia – who was super in love – also has a hard time with it. “It came as a bit of a shock to me,” she says. “I suddenly got an app with: ‘I have to let everything land for a while and I don’t know exactly what my feeling is’ (…) I want to give him all the time and space to let it land. It is also a lot that comes at him , I understand that.”
In the end it’s Tony who takes the plunge, he says: “I expressed my feeling, it’s that simple. And said I was confused for a moment – whatever I just said. I had the feeling: should we then have a relationship? Are we together now? Are we officially dating? That made me anxious.”

According to Tony, he greatly underestimated the program and in retrospect he was not ready for it. “I was absolutely not guided by the program, but there is simply a lot to consider. Intense emotions,” he explains. “Everything that’s happened here with certain ladies, it still haunts me.”
But it seems that he doesn’t seem to mind that much, when Maxime makes a striking revelation. In the Netherlands she has seen Tony and they even kissed one more time! There is according to the Bachelor-babe even more happened than just kissing. And that’s the last straw for Julia…
