The actor, Oscar and Golden Globe winner, as well as the leader of the band Thirty Seconds to Mars, Jared Leto, admitted at a concert in Serbia that he misses the audience from Russia. Residents of Ukraine flooded the artist’s social media account with angry comments.
At a concert in Belgrade, the actor asked the residents of Serbia to respond first, and then the residents of Russia. Judging by the sound, there were a lot more Russians at the Thirty Seconds to Mars concert.
“Guys, we missed you. One day, when all the problems are over, we will come to your homeland. We return to Serbia, we arrive at St. Petersburg, let’s stop by Moscow, and leave with Kyiv. Let’s light it with everyone properly,” – said the star of the movie “Requiem for a Dream”.
This speech caused a surprising number of angry comments from the Ukrainian subscribers of the artist.
“Never come to Ukraine if you think we only have “problems” and you want to visit Moscow. You are not welcome here”, “Totally disgusted and appalled by your situation”, “Problems” in Ukraine? Visiting Moscow? After this, you are an unwanted guest in Kyiv,” “Shame on you,” “I used to like you so much. Now you have sunk to the level of a little Russian patron,” “We will never come to your show again,” – Ukrainians are disgusting.
As reported EADailyformer Russian users forced actor Will Smith close comments on Instagram*.
