The tomb of Tsar Kiro will remain intact forever. Nearly one meter of concrete and reinforcement sealed the room where the body of the Roma baron was laid on Sunday, writes trafficnews.bg.
Two days after relatives and acquaintances said goodbye to Kiril Rashkov, the huge white tent is still above the tomb. It is firmly sealed with concrete, bricks and reinforcement to prevent theft. Next to Rashkov’s body were placed all his personal belongings, as well as the massive gilded throne, valuables for thousands of levs, cigars and alcohol.
Immediately after the ceremony on Sunday, a concrete truck arrived at Central Cemetery. Under the watchful eye of the relatives, the tomb was sealed, and until the slab dried, a guard was placed.
Behind the two mausoleums of the Rashkovi clan are positioned chairs and a wrought iron table. Expensive wines and empty cartons are still placed on them.
Despite the rainy weather, nearly 100 people sent Tsar Kiro. The ceremony was accompanied by music from a specially hired orchestra.
An hour earlier, relatives blocked traffic on Princess Maria Louisa Boulevard. Wreaths in hand and a massive cross, the baron’s grandchildren marched on the hearse. The police had to intervene.
King Kiro was buried as an Egyptian pharaoh. Along with the Roma baron, suitcases with his personal belongings, gold for thousands of levs, furniture and even his golden throne were brought into the room. The dimensions of the tomb are 5/3/3 meters.
