It had already been announced, now it is confirmed: Toni Kroos is returning to the German national team, three years after withdrawing from international commitments.
At 34 years old, the Real Madrid midfielder is on the list of 26 players selected by Julian Nagelsmann for the friendly matches against France, on March 23rd, and the Netherlands, on March 26th.
When announcing his return, Kroos explained that he was doing so at the request of the coach, Nagelsmann, and because he was willing to do so.
Germany is in the final months of preparation for Euro 2024, the tournament in which it hosts: it is in group A, together with Scotland, Hungary and Switzerland.
