Toni Collette and her husband are separating after 20 years of marriage, reports People.
The “Stowaway” actress, 50, announced her split from Dave Galafasi, 44, on Instagram Wednesday, less than a week after returning to the platform.
Colette shared a statement on behalf of her and her husband, which read: “We are grateful to announce that we are divorcing. We are unanimous in our decision and part ways with mutual respect and care that will last through time“, he shared with a photo of flowers forming an inscription: “Peace and love.”
The couple added that their children — 14-year-old daughter Sage Florence and 11-year-old son Arlo Robert — are their priority. “Our children are of the utmost importance to us and we will continue to thrive as a family, albeit in a different form.”
They also thank you for the “space and love you provide us as we grow and go through this transition peacefully.”
Collette’s statement comes after photos surfaced days ago of Galafasi and another woman kissing on a beach in Sydney, Australia. The Daily Mail published the photos, which also show the musician and woman sitting together, holding hands in the water and kissing passionately.

Galafasi has been a drummer in various bands, including one with his wife, Toni Collette.
