After an intense four-day Conference, Olga Gerovasili found herself yesterday morning side by side with Stefanos Kasselakis and after greeting and hugging, they joined the march for the one year anniversary of the tragedy in Tempi.
In the evening, following the president’s initiative, the two had dinner together, in a restaurant in Pagrati.
Two movements of high symbolism, which have a clear goal to give the message to the society that in Koumoundourou they leave behind the phenomena of introversion and move forward united.
The truth is that the intensity of the Congress left wounds in the party. It is characteristic that 41.2% of its voters SYRIZA (in yesterday’s MRB poll on OREN) believes that the party is coming out weakened, while only 32% think it is coming out stronger. And the party leadership wants to close these wounds once and for all.
Also, 48.7% of SYRIZA voters consider Tsipras’s intervention appropriate, while 37.1% consider it inappropriate. So Stefanos Kasselakis has absolutely no reason to have an open front with people who are close to the former prime minister.
51.1% of SYRIZA voters want Stefanos Kasselakis to be judged after the parliamentary elections, while 40.9% want him to be judged after the European elections. One understands that it makes no sense for Olga Gerovasilis to keep her voice high. After all, she herself, speaking at a press conference on Sunday, emphasized that she unequivocally accepted the decision of the delegates not to hold elections.
Stefanos Kasselakis will not finally tour Arta at the weekend (area where Olga Gerovasili is elected and Alexis Tsipras comes from), but a visit will definitely be made until the European elections. Also, a Development Conference will be held in the area in the coming weeks. It is very likely that Olga Gerovasilis will be offered a position in the new Executive Office.
