Ton Lokhoff ‘comes home’ to NAC and becomes technical director | Football

sport">Lokhoff is currently still an assistant trainer at the German VfL Wolfsburg and will sign a commitment until mid-2024 in Breda. “I am very happy that I got this opportunity,” says 61-year-old Lokhoff on the NAC website. “In recent years I have, of course, often worked abroad. To return to NAC after all these years feels like coming home. Coming home to the Netherlands, but above all coming home to my club. ”

sport">Lokhoff played 237 league matches for the club from Breda, divided over two periods (1978-1982 and 1991-1996). After his active career, Lokhoff was long assistant coach at NAC and later head coach. He then worked as a coach at Excelsior and VVV-Venlo and as an assistant at foreign clubs such as Red Bull Salzburg and VfB Stuttgart.

‘Hopefully supporters soon’

sport">“I am looking forward to joining our club. Together we will work hard to bring NAC back to where it belongs. Hopefully the supporters will be able to go to the stadium soon and we will see them during an old-fashioned night at NAC ”, Lokhoff said.
