The Estimates Department of the Meteorological Authority in Lebanon expected in the evening weather bulletin that the cold polar masses will gradually recede from Lebanon and the eastern basin of the Mediterranean, and the weather will stabilize, as an area of high atmospheric pressure dominates, and the temperature recovery will continue until the beginning of next week.
And it warned of the danger of slipping on mountain and internal roads due to the formation of snow in the morning and at night.
The expected weather in Lebanon:
Thursday: Partly cloudy with a slight rise in temperatures that remain below their seasonal rates. Fog forms on the highlands with the possibility of light local rain and some snow at an altitude of 1000m in the morning in the north of the country. We warn of the danger of ice formation on internal and mountain roads that are 1,000 meters or more during the night and early morning hours.
Friday: Clear in general, with an additional rise in temperatures, but they remain low during the night, especially in the internal areas. Snow forms on the mountain and internal roads, starting from a height of 1100 meters and above, during the night and early morning hours.
Saturday: Low clouds with high clouds, with a limited rise in temperatures and a decrease in humidity. Snow continues to form on the mountain and internal roads that are 1300 meters and above during the night and early morning hours.
Sunday: Cloudy with continued rise in temperatures, which are due to seasonal rates, and an additional drop in humidity. We warn of the danger of ice formation on mountain and internal roads that are 1,400 meters or more during the night and early morning hours.
