The Department of Estimates at the Meteorological Authority stated that “stable and warm weather affects Lebanon and the eastern basin of the Mediterranean, with a significant rise in temperatures that exceed seasonal rates on Sunday, accompanied by activity in wind speeds of approximately 70 km / h, starting in the afternoon. It fluctuates The weather is on Monday, with precipitation after the rains, and a noticeable decrease in temperatures that return to their seasonal rates, and then settle relatively on Tuesday,” noting that “the average temperature for the month of February is between 13 and 21.7 degrees Celsius.”
And she explained in her evening bulletin, “The expected weather in Lebanon tomorrow, Sunday, is partly cloudy with high clouds, with a gradual and noticeable rise in temperatures that exceed their seasonal averages by 5 degrees, and the winds are active and sometimes intensify as of the afternoon and are close to 70 km / h, and are loaded with light layers.” From dust, humidity increases during the night and clouds condense, which leads to the formation of fog at medium heights, and sporadic drizzle is expected on Sunday / Monday night.
And the Department of Estimates pointed out, “The expected weather on Monday is partly cloudy to cloudy at times, with a tangible drop in temperatures and an increase in humidity, and thick fog at times on the heights, and the winds are active at times; light and sporadic rain is expected at times, which is generally cloudy.”
And it indicated that “the weather expected on Tuesday is partly cloudy to cloudy at times, with high clouds, a slight rise in temperatures, and local fog at the heights.”
The department also added that “the surface winds are northwesterly to northeasterly during the day and turn in the afternoon to southwesterly, with a speed between 15 and 30 km/h and intensify at times to reach approximately 70 km/h as of evening. Medium heights due to fog, the relative humidity on the coast is between 50 and 70%, the sea condition is medium to rough, and the water surface temperature is 18 degrees Celsius.
