Tomorrow the Moon and Venus meet | PRESENT

The Puerto Rico Astronomical Society Inc. (SAPR), an organization endorsed by NASA Puerto Rico Space Grant Consortium, reported that tomorrow Sunday as soon as night falls, the Moon will be in conjunction with the planet Venus.

A conjunction occurs when two or more objects in the sky vault get close enough to each other, creating the illusion that they are together even if they are separated by great distances.

“From 7pm, if we look towards the Northwest we can see how Venus (the hottest planet in the Solar System), will be several degrees apart from the Moon and will look like the brightest point just to the right of she, something that can be seen with the naked eye from any part of the island ”reported Evelyn Díaz Pérez, board member of the SAPR.

The SAPR invites those fans of astronomy to show their astronomical photographs taken through cameras and telescopes through its Facebook page. To all those who send their photos, the corresponding credit will be given and will be taken into account for a possible publication of the organization in the future.

For more information about conjunction and organization you can visit their Facebook portal at https://www.facebook.com/saprinc.
