“Tomorrow The Mediterranean” international short story competition


The Forum Femmes Méditerranée (FFM) association in Marseille is organizing an international short story competition on the theme “Tomorrow the Mediterranean”. She clarified that the last deadline for sending application files is set before May 31, 2022.

This competition is aimed at women from the Mediterranean without exception. In order to support and promote but also to make known beginner or more confirmed authors from the regions and countries around the Mediterranean. The discovery of cultures, shared lives, challenges and hopes, the beauty of unknown places…

L’French Institute of Tunisia (IFT) informs in this sense that the texts must be in line with the theme and include a title and that only one text will be accepted by author.

In addition, the texts must be sent in four numbered copies of a maximum of 10 pages (12,500 characters).

The winners of the grand prize and the prize of excellence will be invited to Marseille. All award-winning short stories will be published in a collection.

It should be noted that the Forum Femmes Méditerranée de Marseille is a French association. It was created in 1993 by Esther FOUCHIER. And this, after the First International Meeting of Mediterranean Women in November 1992, in Valencia, Spain.

It brings together women as individuals or representatives of associations from different social backgrounds.

In addition, the FFM is both a research organization and an association that sets up cultural initiatives, among other things.
