Tomorrow Jokowi Inaugurate Lithium Battery Anode Material Factory Rp

President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) will visit the Central Java Region on Wednesday (7/8/2024). During this visit, Jokowi will inaugurate PT Indonesia BTR New Power Lithium Battery Material Anode Battery Material Factory.

This information was provided by the Deputy Head of Protocol, Press and Media of the Presidential Secretariat, Muhammad Yusuf Permana. The factory, which is supported by investors from China, is located in the Special Economic Zone (KEK) in Kendal Regency.

“He will go to the Special Economic Zone in Kendal Regency to establish the PT Indonesia BTR New Energy Material Anode Battery Material Factory,” Yusuf said, in a written statement, on Tuesday (6/8/2024).

Yusuf explained that the investment value for phase 1 for the factory was realized at US$ 478 million or about Rp. 7.72 trillion (exchange rate Rp. 16,150).

He said the Lithium Anode Battery Material Factory has a battery anode material production capacity of 80 thousand tons/year.

After this agenda, Yusuf said, Jokowi will return to Jakarta immediately.
