Tomorrow is the test of the Fast Train Rail Transport Vehicle, this is the route

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Toll users in the Jakarta area must pay attention to this. Because on Monday (15/3/2021), a number of toll roads managed by PT Jasa Marga Tbk (JSMR) will test the routes that will be traversed by rail transport vehicles belonging to the Jakarta-Bandung fast train.

The route to be followed is the Jakarta Outer Ring Road (JORR) Toll Road Sections E3 and E2 (Rorotan-Cikunir), Jakarta-Cikampek, Cikampek-Padalarang (Cipularang) and Padalarang-Cileunyi (Padaleunyi).

This trial will be conducted starting at 05.00 WIB. This line will be passed by a 32 Axle Multi-Axle Trailer vehicle, which is a rail carrier belonging to the R.60 rail belonging to a 50 meter long fast train that is not loaded.

This vehicle will be escorted by four other vehicles, consisting of a storage car, an escort car with a rotator, a prime mover and a patrol car.

Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad (JMT) Regional Division Head Bagus Cahya AB explained the trial included a trip from Jakarta to Bandung.

He detailed the vehicle’s journey, the journey starting from Pier 114/115 Tanjung Priok Port and entering through the Semper 2 Toll Gate (GT) Tanjung Priok Access Toll Road.

Then continue the journey of the JORR Toll Road Section E3 & E2 (Rorotan to Cikunir), the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road by crossing the Cikunir Intersection to the Cipularang Toll Road.

“… After that, the vehicle continues its journey to the Padaleunyi Toll Road,” Bagus explained in a press release on Sunday (14/3/2021).

Later, at Jalan Tol Padaleunyi, vehicles will turn back at GT Cileunyi to enter Jalan Tol Padaleunyi towards Jakarta and will stop at the entrance to Km 150+200 Tegaluar.

The length of time required by the vehicle is 7.42 hours and it is estimated that it will arrive at its destination at 12.30 WIB. This length of time includes the stop time for inspection of Multi-Axle vehicles for 30 minutes at each location on the toll road such as Parking Bay Km 41 + 000 Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road, GT Kalihurip Utama 1 Cipularang Toll Road and Km 102 + 200 Cipularang Toll Road

This vehicle will move with an average speed of 30 km / hour and a maximum of 50 km / hour, and a minimum speed (turn) of 15 km / hour.

In addition, in order to ensure the smooth journey of the train group without cargo and to anticipate potential congestion, Jasa Marga has alerted Mobile Customer Service and Highway Patrol officers to carry out escort, security and traffic control at congestion-prone points.

“The process of testing a fast train vehicle that is not filled with cargo is the initial stage in the context of submitting a trial permit for a 50 meter rail carrier with a cargo,” he said.

JMT also continues to coordinate with regional and representative offices that these unloaded fast train vehicles will pass, such as the Jasamarga Transjawa Tollroad (JTT) Regional Division and Representative Office 1 JTT Regional Division as the manager of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road.

“We apologize for the inconvenience of road users for the potential congestion that may occur. We also ask for the cooperation of road users to be able to manage travel times, especially for commuters who still have to be active on Monday and take the route through a series of Jasa Marga toll roads included in this test route, “he continued.

Jasa Marga also appealed to road users to be careful and obey the signs and directions of officers in the field. Traffic information around Jasa Marga Group toll roads can be accessed through Jasa Marga’s 24-Hour Call Center at 14080 and the Travoy 3.0 application for iOS and Android users.
