Ceferino Flores, specialist in phytopathology at the Inta Yuto Experimental Station, explained that these techniques will be the axis of the dissertations and dynamics of the day, where microorganisms such as trichoderma, spirillum, pseudomonas will be highlighted, in addition to organic matter as a key input for improve soil health.
Flores, who also coordinates research in the INTA Yuto phytopathology laboratory, highlighted the need to rethink the approach towards less aggressive agriculture. “For a long time, it was believed that more fertilization and chemicals guaranteed higher yields, but this is not the case. We realized that the key is to analyze and strengthen the life of the soil,” he said. According to the specialist, conserving the soil by incorporating organic matter and regulating its removal is crucial to achieving a natural and sustainable balance in crops.
