Shooting secrets, anecdotes: did you know?
- This is the 6th feature film of Noémie Lvovsky.
- In an interview she gave us at Angoulême Francophone Film Festival in 2017, the actress, screenwriter and director looked back on the genesis of her work, co-written with Florence Seyvos : “The film was born from this strong feeling that there is something wild, mysterious in the love between a girl and her mother. I wanted to tell this story as I would have done to film a passionate love affair between a man and a woman ”.
- The shooting took place on the side of Paris and its surroundings.
- This feature film has the particularity of having been rewritten during filming. Indeed, the young actress Luce rodriguez had to stop filming for medical reasons: “We shot half of the film out of order. We had no hope of resuming. (…) The producers, Sidonie Dumas and Jean-Louis Livi, then saw the rushes. They urged me to continue at the end of the screening. With Florence Seyvos, we went back to writing while thinking of another actress. Anaïs Demoustier then arrived on the project. (…) She did a job of blotting, soaking up the character of Luce Rodriguez ”.
