Tommy Tiny Lister: actor was found dead in the US after having symptoms of Covid 19 | Coronavirus – People – Culture


The actor and occasional professional wrestler Tommy ‘Tiny’ Lister, passed away this Thursday, December 10, after having experienced symptoms of covid-19 for a whole week.

This was confirmed by his manager, Cindy Cowan, to the magazine ‘People’.

According to the medium ‘TMZ’, the 62-year-old supporting actor was found dead at his home in Marina Del Rey, California, (United States) by a friend who was concerned and went to the scene after Lister didn’t answer his calls.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, however, The cause of death has yet to be determined with the autopsy as he never tested positive for coronavirus.

The interpreter, known for his roles in ‘The Fifth Element’, ‘The Dark Knight’, ‘Friday’ and ‘Next Friday’, was in good health, however, last weekend he was supposed to work on a movie but canceled his attendance from Friday.

“He was really complaining, but he was too weak to go to the doctor,” Cowan said.

In social networks, users have said goodbye to the actor. “He was a kind and one-of-a-kind giant, a man who has been like a brother to me for 20 years,” his representative tweeted.

Lister began his career in the 1980s, appearing in such films as ‘Runaway Train’, ‘Blue City’ and ‘Beverly Hills Cop II’. It was in 1995 when he began to become known by playing the role of Deebo, the neighborhood bully, in the movies ‘Friday’ and ‘Next Friday’ (2000).

After that role, he began to appear in more Hollywood movies such as ‘Jackie Brown’, ‘Austin Powers in Gold Member’ and ‘The Fifth Element’. Similarly, he is remembered for the television series ‘Matlock’, ‘Perfect Strangers’, ‘The Prince of Bel-Air’, ‘Moesha’ and ‘The Jamie Foxx Show’.

One of his most iconic roles was in which he played a prisoner in ‘Batman: The Dark Knight’, the film directed by Christopher Nolan and starring Christian Bale. It came out in a scene in which the Joker threatened an entire ship with a bomb.
